CORPORATE PLANNING, ORGANIZATION AND LITIGATION
We have participated in substantial litigation involving corporations including their organization, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, fiduciary duties, and similar type corporate transactions and issues. We do not do work before the SEC in terms of corporate organizations, regulatory filings and the like.
Our corporate practice is restricted to structuring and advising small and medium size businesses and litigation. It is our litigation practice that allows to be proactive and have a unique perspective in counseling clients in how to avoid activities that will provoke litigation. While we are prepared to do the litigation, it can be so time consuming and destructive that we want to emphasize avoidance. We have recently settled litigation before it started in the corporate area on exactly that foundation.
Our corporate planning and organization strategy is straightforward: Prevent litigation. Kill litigation off before it starts with a good settlement. If it cannot be settled, we go the distance to get a proper result.
